Since this holiday when the TRANFORMERS came out there has been a lot some attenion on a trailer that was played during the previews. Which has Matt Reeves directing, J.J. Abrams is producing it and its starring: Blake Lively, Lizzy Caplan, and Mike Vogel who we know from the trailer as a man named Rob.
I didn't go to see the TRANSFORMERS, not really my cup of tea most likly wait for it on DVD, so I first watched the trailer through YouTube and then later when it was available on Quicktime. I was very intruged with this film. I'm constantly want to know more about this film. The trailer doesn't tell much about what going on just that "something" is attacking New York. First thoughts were Godzilla, but then i remembered that the Godzilla US rights were with Sony and not Paramount, but you never know the rights could have been transfered. Then I looked around the net and saw that people are talking about it could be and mytho creature Called Cthulhu which is from one of H.P Lovecrafts Novels. After reading and finding more inforamation on this creature it would seem like this is a very good bet. Then their are these websites about Ethan Haas from puzzles that once completed will have a videos of a person talking about events that happen etc. Recents report thou report that the Ethan Haas sites have completly nothing to do with this movie but who know. Sure seem relevant. One thing I foind weird was the actress Lizy Caplan who is in this movie and she was on the show 'The Class" and her co-star Jason Ritter played a Character named Ethan Hass, weird. In the most recent finding that is said that it is a part of the story is Slusho which is a weird Japanese website of what?, I don't know except its about a drink called "Slusho." Another idea of what it could be and possibly my favorite one is "Rampage" which is a game where the player plays a monster the wreaks havok among the city, and from what I remember the Monster were once humans. Maybe the Slusho has something to do with it?
All those ideas could be wrong mind you, hopefully more questions will be answered as we get closer and closer to January 18, 2008, but this will definitly be a big hit movie to start off the new year. I can't wait.
